Bloomsday

Today, for my literary minded readers, is Bloomsday. That is, June 16, the day during which the whole of James Joyce's Ulysses takes place. While I haven't yet read the book (I'm headed up to the library presently to see if there's a copy up there!), I can't quite take part, but I do enjoy the idea that there's a cult following for a work of literature.

Anyone know if there's a Moby Dick day? Maybe a day commemorating Faust? (Wait, that'd probably be Walpurgisnacht, on April 30/May 1.) How about a Paddington Bear Celebration? Maybe I'll just have to create them myself!
