I had a wonderful weekend, which, for sheer reasons of laziness, I do not feel like blogging about yet.

Instead, I'll wish everyone a Happy 4th of July, regardless of whether you celebrate Independence Day or not. As Thorsten says, "we don't just skip from the 3rd to the 5th!" So we are having a party - for which I have to make macaroni salad. Nothing like "introducing" the Germans to "normal American barbeque fare" like macaroni salad. Good thing it's one of my favorite things ever :)

And I am sitting here listening to "Paradise City" by G'n'R. What a day, what a day.
