I made it safely back to Ohio, despite fierce winds in Frankfurt that tried to throw off the whole day! And I flew in business class for the first time on the way from Berlin to Frankfurt. But getting from Frankfurt to the States was a chore and a half because they made us sit on the plane for an hour before take-off. That was, of course, after we sat in the terminal for an hour. So at least they let us sit in the airport before we got on the plane. But regardless, we didn't get into Detroit til 6:45, a good 2 hours after we were supposed to.
But I'm here, and all is good. It's such a nice thing to be able to speak English! I am much funnier than I remember -- all of my jokes have been bottled up for 3 months!
