So, I know that poetry is supposed to be read aloud, but I didn't think that people actually read it that way.

But, I was wrong. One of the kids (I have dubbed him "The Republican" because he wears dress trousers, a button-down shirt, and a tie - a tie! - everyday to class) was reading some poem off the computer in the computer lab today. Nothing's wrong with that, of course, but it was just unusual. Something about charging and cannons and something else. I was trying not to pay too much attention because I'd have started laughing. He just read it with so much emotion...

Apparently some Republicans do have hearts.

Don't you love how we can make up the story of people's lives in our heads and completely convince ourselves that it is reality? Of course we don't KNOW that this feller is a republican, but since we have assumed as much because one characteristic of him fit the build then we can go on finding other small things about him that may reflect. I love it!!! Me and Des do the same thing with random people on the street
