My question: is this a hopeful song, or a hopeless song? Is it vengeful? Or is he willing to give it another go? Maybe he's simply telling us to pay attention to what we give to other people- don't waste your best unless you're in it full throttle. Or some other more eloquent metaphor. What do you think? Don't be afraid to be wrong, Dear Readers! I'm just looking for some non-professional insight.
