Top 5 Random Websites

Here's a list of the websites that I will generally check at the end of the day, just to see what fun, new content has been posted while I've been stuck in the land of the working-without-computer-access.

Pop Candy -- Whitney Matheson is a pop culture writer for USA Today and this is where she shares all sorts of music, movie, book or tv related links.

Pop Culture Junk Mail -- kind of the same, but instead of Whitney and USA Today, it's Gael Fashingbauer Cooper and MSNBC. She doesn't post as often as Pop Candy, but I sometimes find the content to be more ridiculous (and thus more entertaining). For example, she just recently started a new blog in which is re-reading a series of novels from her youth about career women and romance. It's pretty funny.

Post Secret -- people send in their anonymous secrets and a selection is posted every Sunday. It's very enlightening and a good way to connect with strangers over the web. How many of these secrets could be our own?

Go Fug Yourself -- Heather and Jessica critique the unusual ensembles of celebrities.

The Vine at Tomato Nation -- An advice column. Questions from boys to cats to etiquette to grammar. Features Ask the Readers Friday, which is exactly what it sounds like. New posts Monday through Friday.

Enjoy!
