If you were to receive a gift basket of homemade goodies, what are some things you'd like to get? Sweets, baked goods, vanilla, infused vodkas, etc.

I'm trying to figure out my "miscellaneous gifts for people who might not get a real gift from me" theme. Since I've been doing so much experimental cooking this year, I thought I'd try to go for something cookery, but I'm not sure what to do.

Or, would you prefer bath goodies? I got the Martha Stewart Living from last December which has lots of great ideas, but I don't know which would be the best way to go.

Thanks, dudes!

Also, unrelated but WTF. Taylor Swift hosting SNL this weekend? Seriously?

I would say bath stuff. Cookery stuff is delicious but you get so much of it during the holidays, I feel like half of it gets thrown out. Or eaten and then you feel guilty about it later. But cookery stuff is delicious too!

Wow, infused vodka? Aren't you creative! I would also vote for something non-perishable, like bath stuff.. that way you can have a stash of things for that inevitable awkward moment when someone gives you a gift you hadn't planned on and you're like "Ohhhh, that's great... uh, look, I made this just for you!" Homemade hot chocolate mix + mug is usually my go-to gift for surprise gifters.
