It's our last day in Texas. We're still in Austin, but this afternoon we're driving to Boern because a friend of mine who lives in the area invited us to a family barbeque. Then we're ending the day in San Antonio and flying out early in the morning.
That means that I have to try to squeeze in some last-minute Tex Mex delights and figure out if there's any other places I want to try to visit today. I think, though, with it being Sunday, that places might have shortened hours. I will have to check.
Possible destinations: Museum of the Weird in Austin, Buckhorn's and the Texas Ranger Museum in San Antonio. Wish us luck!
