Because I don't have enough going on in my life right now, I've joined an off-season book club with some of my twitter friends. We're reading The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach. It's about a boy who is a super fantastic baseball player and some of the people he meets when he goes off to a small, liberal arts college on Lake Michigan (?).
That's pretty much all I can say at this point without spoiling the plot, even if I'm only 70 pages into it.
And, unfortunately for Kristin, everyone (except for me) seems to be reading the book pretty quickly, so we're picking up the pace in hopes of finishing a lot sooner than March. She might not get to borrow it next week, after all :(
